È un po' di tempo che mi tengono compagnia ed ora che credo di averli assorbiti, almeno in parte, mi permetto di consigliarveli caldamente.
Gli Yes sono stati definiti come il paradigma del progressive rock, questo non so se sia vero quello che posso dire è che a me piacciono davvero e non annoiano mai.
Di questo album, Tales From Topographic Ocean, mi continua a cinguettare nella mente una per me bellissima canzone: The Ancient (Giants Under The Sun) che vi propongo:

Di questo album, Tales From Topographic Ocean, mi continua a cinguettare nella mente una per me bellissima canzone: The Ancient (Giants Under The Sun) che vi propongo:
ma la parte parte più bella è qui a circa cinque minuti e mezzo dalla fine io comincio a perdemi non so dove, forse nella chitarra di Howe forse nella voce di Anderson forse, più semplicemente, nell'atmosfera che gli Yes riescono a creare quello che so è che a due minuti dalla fine sono molto vicino al sogno ad occhi aperti e sento l'irrefrenabile desiderio di fermarmi e respirare quella musica e queste parole:

Ci sarebbero altri tre ascolti all'interno di questo doppio album tutti meritevoli ma, per me, non come questo. A voi lascio la loro scoperta tanto i link li avete ;).

lo ascolto da trentacinque anni (sono un po' in avanti con gli anni) ed è sempre come se fosse la prima volta.

io mi sono avvicinato a loro solo recentemente ma devo dirti che Reagile, il mip primo disco degli Yes, me lo gusto sempre come allora. Credo che non cambierà niente neppure per gli altri e per gli Yes in generale. Sono davvero un gran bel gruppu. Loro ed i King Crimson credo che formino la più bella medaglia prog che si sia mai vista.
