Welcome Solstice and Winter too

Hi blogger,

today is the winter solstice the etymology of this word has come from Latin origin, it came from the compound form of "sol=sun" and "sistere=to stand" this is because the apparently don' change its position in the sky from the day after. Tonight will be the longest night whole year and of course the shortest day and tomorrow will be the first day of Winter!
